Terms of service
Last updated 19 October 2026
These are the terms for using Nacre, the app at app.nacrelearning.com and the Nacre connector for Claude. By using Nacre you agree to them.
Who can use Nacre
You need to be 13 or over. Nacre is invite only for now: you get in from the waitlist or with an invite from a member.
Invites
Each member gets a few invites to give to people they know. Invites are free and personal: please don't sell them or post them in bulk. We may cancel invites that are misused.
Your content
What you save stays yours. You let us store it and use it to write your questions and run Nacre for you, and for nothing else. You can download or delete it at any time from Settings.
AI can be wrong
Nacre's questions, answers and explanations are written by AI. They are usually right, but not always. Nacre is a way to remember what you learn, not professional advice: check anything important, especially about health, money or the law. There's a "This looks wrong" button on suggested lessons; please use it.
Using Nacre fairly
- Don't use Nacre to break the law or to store anything you don't have the right to use.
- Don't try to get around limits, get into other people's accounts, or overload the service.
- One person per account.
Paid plans
Reviewing is free. If you buy a paid plan, the price is shown before you pay, payment is handled by Stripe, and you can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep the plan until the end of the period you paid for.
Changes and availability
Nacre is new and will change. We work hard to keep it running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will never be unavailable. If we make a change to these terms that matters, we'll tell you before it applies.
Ending
You can delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why.
Liability
Nothing here limits anything that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere you keep the consumer protections of where you live.
